Testronic Labs, a provider of quality assurance services, has been awarded two new certifications. The first is the global certification of SATA devices by The Serial ATA International Organization (SATA-IO), responsible for developing, managing and driving industry adoption of Serial ATA specifications and delivering standard terms for the SATA interface. SATA is a replacement for the Parallel ATA physical storage interface. |

Music is not the only content going mobile. Hands-On Mobile, Inc, a developer of connected games and applications, and Marvel Entertainment Inc, have announced the availability of the mobile game and personalisation content around the forthcoming big-screen adaptation of Marvel's legendary super hero, Iron Man. The movie is released to theatres in the US on 2 May. The game and content is currently available on select carriers around the world, and will continue to roll out to additional carriers in the coming weeks. |

 Attendance figures seemed good at this year's MEDIA-TECH Expo in Frankfurt, if the registration area crowds were any indication. It was also standing room only in the presentation theatre for a series of talks on Blu-ray - the star of the show - with a very upbeat keynote speech from Dieter Daum of Sony DADC. |
